Glenmorangie Taghta Single Malt Whisky

A unique whisky from Glenmorangie, everything about The Taghta was designed by consumers (Glenmorangie's 'Cask Masters').
Taghta, pronounced [Tuh-tah], Gaelic for 'chosen' was launched in 2013 as the world’s first crowd-managed single malt, with the inspiration for the name, label design and even cask type used came from those who participated in the whisky’s creation. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in ex-Manzanilla casks.
Only 12,000 bottles released.

    Nose:    Herbal, malty, menthol, pears, vanilla, coconut, marzipan, spicy, buttery, caramel, apricots.

    Taste:    Oak, spices, caramel, honey, coconut, vanilla pudding, nutty, apricot jam, mango chutney, plums, leather.

    Finish:    Medium to long and soft finish.
